THE PURGE IS BACK AND THIS YEAR ITS GOING TO BE EVEN BETTER!
WE ARE REALLY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT AFTER THE SUCCESS OF OUR SPECIAL JOINT EVENT WITH THE AMAZING WEST MIDLANDS AIRSOFT LAST YEAR, WE ARE TEAMING UP AGAIN TO BRING THE PURGE BACK FOR ANOTHER ROUND… PURGE - CHAPTER 2.
THIS YEARS PURGE WILL BE SEEING MORE OF THE SAME AWESOME ‘PURGING’ THAT WE SAW LAST YEAR, BUT WITH A LOT OF NEW ADDITIONS TO REALLY SPICE THINGS UP.
THE ‘ARENA’ WILL OF COURSE BE BACK BUT WITH SOME IMPROVEMENTS, AND OF COURSE ‘MAD FRANK’ AND ‘YURI’ WILL ALSO BE BACK ON SITE AS YOUR RESIDENT INSANE ARMS DEALERS AND MISSION/OBJECTIVE GIVERS.
THIS YEARS CHAPTER OF THE PURGE WILL ALSO SEE A ‘POST-APOCALYPTIC’ THEME TO THE SECOND CHAPTER OF THIS EVENT SERIES, WHICH OF COURSE MEANS THAT WE WILL BE ENCOURAGING ANY PLAYERS THAT REALLY WANT TO GET INTO THE SPIRIT OF THE PURGE, TO COME IN THEIR FINEST APOCALYPTIC LOADOUTS TO ADD TO THE IMMERSION (AND MAYHEM).
WHAT IS THE PURGE?
The Purge is a special event co-hosted by SIXMIL AIRSOFT and WEST MIDLANDS AIRSOFT HC2 that will be a little ‘different’ from your standard game days.
There will be no designated teams - its essentially every man for himself, however we do encourage groups of players/friends ‘teaming up’ for this event as being part of a small group or team will definitely help you survive the carnage!… Come with battle buddies, or make truces/allies as you play - its down to you, but don’t forget in the end their will only be one winner, so expect double crossing and broken truces throughout the day… This is The Purge after all!
The event will run continuously for 6 hrs once the game starts. Players can take breaks/lunch during the event at any times they wish to by returning to the safezone, but the game will not formally stop until Endex.
As well as a whole host of special objectives planned to run throughout this event to keep things interesting, we have also designed a unique scoring system that will allow players to score their enemy player kills (and their own deaths), which will allow us to score the players individually at the conclusion of the game, and work out who ruled The Purge!
We will be throwing loads more info up on this page over the coming weeks/months leading up to the event so keep checking back, and of course we will be firing that info out on our social media pages at the same time too.
